It’s a two horse race in Bristol North West
After boundary changes, which means that Bristol North West now includes Henleaze, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym, both the influential UK Polling Report and Plymouth University have produced research which proves this constituency is a two horse race between the two parties. Conservative Candidate Charlotte Leslie comments, “We can win Bristol North West, but only if we deliver on issues that matter to local people, and that is what I am determined to do.”

Lib Dems admit defeat
The Liberal Democrats own website confirms they expect to come third in this constituency. Their own website states there are only hundreds of votes between the Conservatives and Labour whilst their party trails thousands behind. Charlotte Leslie comments, “This proves what we all know locally, that this area is a straight fight between Labour and Conservatives. I welcome the fact that the Liberal Democrats have at last owned up to being out of the race.” In the most recent elections voters in Avonmouth, Henbury, Horfield, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym all elected Conservatives and in Kingsweston and Southmead voted Labour.
